Application Development Intern – Cloud, Voice AI & LLMs

What we do

We build and scale Dattivox, an AI voice platform used by businesses and public institutions to handle calls, appointments, and recurring requests automatically. Dattivox connects telephony, real-time backend logic, and large language models into a cloud-native system running on AWS.

Our work sits at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and applied AI. We focus on building systems that actually run in production and solve concrete problems for real users, from town halls to professional service providers.

Why this role

We are a startup. That means speed, responsibility, and learning by building. You will not be given a perfectly defined task list or a sandbox project that never leaves a lab. You will work on an existing product that is evolving fast, where technical decisions matter and where your contributions can shape the platform.

This role exists because someone before you helped build the product and moved on. We are now looking for someone who wants to step in, take ownership, and grow alongside the system. If you enjoy environments where things are still being defined and where initiative is valued more than titles, this will feel like the right place.

Who you are

  • Student in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field
  • Interested in backend development and cloud systems
  • Comfortable working with JavaScript and motivated to deepen your Node.js skills
  • Curious about AWS and how cloud infrastructure works in real production environments
  • Interested in AI and large language models, especially their practical use in products
    Comfortable working in English
  • Looking for hands-on experience beyond academic coursework

What you will do

The first 2 weeks you will get a special training on AWS technolgies and our development process, this will allow you to be able to bring you up to speed.

You will contribute directly to the Dattivox platform. This includes backend development, working with AWS infrastructure, and helping integrate LLM-based components into real workflows. You will collaborate with senior engineers, review code, and participate in decisions that affect how the system scales and operates.
